  My friend and I had an awful experience with Beauchaines 211 and decided to leave after ordering only our appetizers. That left us with no idea where to eat dinner. We ended up at the Beach Shop and Grill because it was on the way home. I'm so glad we did. Walking in we were warmly greeted and delighted by the gorgeous flower arrangements on the table. The wait staff was attentive, personable, and knowledgeable. The drinks and food were divine (the vinaigrette on the spinach salad may be the best I've ever had and my friend tried and didn't hate my brussel sprouts, which is a miracle). Dinner and dessert were just as good (and really made me wish we had entirely skipped the first stop so I had more room for their delicious food). The whole experience was just delightful. The restaurant was marvelous and saved the night. I am happy to recommend eating there.

  Great fried green tomatoes and burgers. I'm sure other stuff is good too, but that's just what we had. A really nice find in a small town!
